Fruit sauces are one of the best dessert tricks around. You can make them in no time at all, and have something that will be delicious drizzled over frozen yogurt, cut-up fruit, or cake. You can use fresh fruit—or, given the sorry state of much fruit in supermarkets today, using frozen unsweetened fruit could be more flavorful.
Choose from the categories below and follow these basic directions:
In a food processor or blender, combine 1 FRUIT, 1 SWEETENER, 1 FLAVORING, and 1 SPICE if desired. Puree until smooth. Taste and then add 1 ACID if desired. Chill.
